Seeing that I commented on this thread about the issues I had with my iPhone 14 Pro Max 16.1 I thought I would send an update. I called Apple and had my phone replaced - this literally solved every issue I experienced with iOS 16.1 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Day 1 has been fantastic so far. Knock on wood and fingers crossed.
After 3 days of having the iPhone 11 Pro Max I’m really happy with my upgrade. It’s such a solid phone ! Every aspect that you can think of is improved. My favorite is the battery life. I had a battery case for my XS Max and now with the 11 Max I don’t have a need or want for an external battery case.
I got my iPhone 11 Pro in early-November 2019 and as of today I’m at 95% of my phone’s maximum battery capacity. I’m curious to see how this compares to other pro and pro max owners. Thanks! Update: I’m surprised by the number of ppl who’ve owned their phones for a longer period and still are at 100%.

The 13 Pro Max has the best battery life out of any currently available iPhone. I think it’s the most “future proof” out of the iphone 13 lineup. 13 Pro’s battery life is not bad, but the 13 Pro Max is definitely better by a few hours. Both can last under a full day of moderate use, but I think the 13 Pro Max is very hard to drain
iPhone 14 Pro Max, purchased on release day. Atm, still 100% battery health. Came from an iPhone Xs with 76% battery health so you can imagine the daily stress I had. The measures I took may not be viable for everyone, but I rarely use the phone whilst its charging to avoid overheating Keep it above 20% and below 80%.
